Mahindra & Mahindra is once again preparing to create a panic in the Indian automobile market. The company is soon launching a new pickup SUV based on the Scorpio N platform, which will not only be in a strong look, but will also challenge international trains like Toyota Hillux and Isuzu D-Max V-Cross in terms of technology and performance.
This new pickup is specially designed keeping in mind the customers who want to meet both lifestyle and commercial needs in the same vehicle. Mahindra can launch this vehicle in double-cab and single-cab variants, so that it can become popular in both urban and rural markets.

Scorpio N will be seen in design and body structure
The design of this new pickup SUV of Mahindra matches Scorpio N. However, some changes will be made to make it more practical and tough. According to photos and reports surfaced, the car will see a new front grille, muscular bumper, rollover bar and large loading area. Apart from this, it can also be given steel wheels, shark-fin antenna and halogen lights, which will make it strong and economical.
Being a double-cab version, this pickup will give the SUV passengers comfortable seating space and will also have the ability to carry large-scale goods. Its look will give a premium feel on the one hand, on the other hand it will also be fully capable of everyday tasks.
There will be no shortage in features
Mahindra’s pickup is expected to be given many latest features. The technology shown in the concept version included safety and comfort features such as Level-2 Adas, Multiple Airbags, 5G connectivity, trailer self-control and driver fatigue alert. However, in the production model, the company can keep the basic variants simple, while the top variants will be given premium features.
In addition, all variants are expected to get the necessary safety features and modern infotainment systems. In some versions, Mahindra’s 4XPlor 4WD system can also be given, so that it can also become a great option for off-roading enthusiasts.
Engine and performance will also be strong
This new pickup SUV of Mahindra will get to see the powerful engine with Scorpio N and Thar. It is expected to be given a 2.0-liter MStallion turbo-petrol engine and a 2.2-liter MHAWK diesel engine. Talking about transmission options, it can get 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. Also, this train will come with both rear-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive options.
Suspense now on launch date
At present, the company has not made any official announcement regarding the launch date of this pickup SUV. However, automobile experts believe that it can be introduced in India in the next few months. The pickup is part of Mahindra’s new product strategy, including electric vehicles of the new Thar, XUV700 and BE series.
This new pickup of Mahindra is fully prepared to give a tough competition to foreign companies like Toyota and Isuju in the Indian market. It can set a new benchmark in the coming time on the basis of design, features and performance.
