Luxury car brand Mercedes-Benz in India is going to launch its new sports coupe car AMG CLE 53 Coupe on 12 August 2025. This will be the second offer of the Mercedes Cle series, which is bringing a brilliant combination of both performance and style. Earlier, the company has launched CLE 300 Cabriot. The new model CLE 53 Coupe is not only equipped with a powerful engine, but its look and features also give it a distinct identity in the sports car segment.
Powerful and aggressive design
The exterior design of Mercedes-Aamg Cle 53 Coupe is more bold and aggressive than 300 cabriolet. It has the company’s signature panamericana grille which has vertical slats. Along with this, there are sleek LED headlights on both sides which make the front profile sharp and stylish.

The front bumper gives a very large and muscular look, making the presence of the vehicle strong on the road. Wide fenders in side profiles and air vents given with wheel arch give it a racing car -like look. Talking about the rear design, it has a quad exhaust setup, gloss-black defuse and unified tail lights, which gives the vehicle a sporty touch. It will get 19-inch alloy wheels standard, while 20-inch wheels options will be available.
Luxury and sporty interior synergy
The interior of AMG CLE 53 Coupe is also very premium and sporty. Although its cabin design is similar to Cle Cabriot, it has added many AMG-specific features. The car has an 11.9 -inch touchscreen and a 12.3 -inch digital driver display. Apart from this, the steering wheel of AMG style, red stitching with Alcantara and leather finish, all-black dashboard and seats, and carbon fiber trims with this car also gives sports feel in the interior.
Talking about the facilities, it will be given many premium features like Wireless Apple Carplay, Android Auto, 64-Caller Ambient Lighting, Burmester Sound System, Electric Seats with Memory, Heads-Up Display and Wireless Charging.
Engine and performance
Mercedes-Aamg Cle 53 Coupe has given the company a 3.0-liter twin-turbo straight-6 engine that comes with a 48V mild-hybrid system. This engine generates power of 449 HP and torque of 560 Nm. It has a 9-speed dual-clutch gearbox and 4Matic all-wheel drive system for transmission.
The car can catch a speed of 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds and its top speed is 250 km/h. It is clear that it is a high-performance sports coupe that will definitely entice the enthusiasts of the speed.

Price and match
The ex-showroom price of this coupe car in the Indian market is expected to be around Rs 2 crore. It will directly compete with BMW’s M2, which is an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.03 crore. However, in terms of CLE 53 Coupe performance, design and technology, there is much more premium than this.
